I think these are great. Yes, they are a bit more fragile then other glasses I have but no more then my nice set of china. They take to the dishwasher just fine, but you can't casually toss them in like other glasses. These are unique and beautiful glasses and with a touch more care, they will make a great addition. I love mine and use them every day.

I just received these glasses in my order and in fact they are not hand-blown in Italy as stated on the website, they were made in China. I will be returning them for a full refund.

When it comes to hot beverage reusable container options, there are not many. A traditional mug (handle), a mug with a silicone ring, or this fantastic glass within a glass method. Mugs with handles are difficult for me to hold comfortably because I'm one of those guys with bigger hands. So, I ordered the Tassimo mugs with the silicone band (I ordered the blue ones because it's my girlfriend's favorite color). They are awesome, but it is a pain removing the silicone band and cleaning behind it each and every time. Then I found these. Winner! It is easy to hold, easy to clean, and stays cool even when holding a piping hot beverage. We love, love, love these glass mugs!!!
* I noticed that some reviews were warning about glass breakage. To accomplish the design, the glass is a little thinner. Does this mean they break by simply flicking them with a finger like some try to claim? Absolutely not! I did just that as a test, clinked them together (not super hard of course), squeezed them in my hands, and even tried to press the bottom of the inner glass out towards the outer glass. None of these tests made me feel as though they were going to break. I hand wash nice items like this because I don't want the dishwasher to etch the glass. But, they are dishwasher and microwave safe.

I love these, and here is why:
1) My drink looks beautiful. I'm a latte and coffee "drink" person and love the look of the drink in this clear mug.
2# These mugs do keep the heat in the drink and out of your hand.
3) These mugs AREN'T too thin. I read several reviews describing the mugs as thin and breakable, but that isn't my experience at all. The thickness of this mug is between a fine red wine glass and a fine porcelain mug. I have had no problem with breakage whatsoever and use these mugs every day. They have also done well in the dishwasher #top tray.#
I'm going to buy another set so I don't have to wash them so often!

Got these and loved their looks, but they're glass, and very thin glass at that. They both broke within a month. I'd love them if they were more robust.

I was truly excited to tryout my new mugs and they worked very well. After my initial use I washed them in the sink, one of the mugs hardly tapped another glass in the sink and it cracked like an eggshell. Hard to describe my disappointment!!! This is something you are supposed to be able to use on a daily basis?????

I couldn't believe that this product that worked so well was sooo fragile! Mine didn't last even a month! They need to design it better, maybe plexiglass instead of glass... I too was disappointed!!

These glasses are absolutely beautiful.. It truly enhances the coffee experience by showcasing the deep, rich colors and layers of your beverage as you sip it. It adds a special visual stimulus to go along with the aroma and flavor of your coffee. And I think it actually makes it taste even better too!
However, be careful with them. I knocked one into my sink (from only my countertop) and it shattered. So handle with care. These beauties are delicate!

My mugs arrived yesterday and I can’t even begin to tell you how awesome these things are. They are the perfect delivery method for a quality coffee, much like the right wine glass for a cabernet or beer glass for a stout. I sipped some Carte Noire Voluptuoso Corse out of one last night and it was much more than a cup of coffee….it was an experience. The double wall holds the heat while shielding your hands all while being visually appealing. The curved lip allows the coffee to glide over the edge and gently tumble onto your taste buds. At the same time the wide mouth allows the aroma to rise up and meet your nose in perfect harmony. The overall shape of the glass also makes it easy to give your coffee a little swirl, releasing even more aroma just before bringing it up for a sip. Another feature I like is how the Tassimo logo is printed on the outside surface of the inside wall. This means that the logo will never wear off. I can’t wait to go home and have another experience.

These mugs are the best thing yet to enjoy cappuccino - seeing the milk and coffee layers is really great. But the best is being able to hold a hot beverage without getting burned. A really useful and beautiful product. Also, I run mine through the dishwasher all the time with no breakage problems - they seem quite sturdy.

The good: Since they have a 2-wall insulation, they keep coffee hot longer, and keep cold drinks colder. And they don't leave a condensation ring, so you can skip a coaster. I use them in my media room chairs, where cups with handles don't fit. I have had 2 for a couple of years, with no problem in durability. I get nervous putting them in the dishwasher, but my wife will throw them in, and no breakage problems so far.
Two minor issues: They do not fit well in the older Braun machines. And it's a stretch to say they are 12 oz. A Large Tassimo cup will fill in to the very top.

I bought these for my husband for Christmas, wasn't sure if he would really like them, but I knew I would. He won't drink
his coffee from a cup after using these. They feel so good in your hand, no more coffee rings on the tables, perfect temperature, I have nothing but good things to say about these mugs.

I try all of them except Espresso, I like my Turkish espresso coffee. I recommend to try Tassimo coffee maker T65 the BEST.

I love these mugs. It makes drinking my cappucino a delight every day! I recommend them to everyone whether they have a Tassimo or not! Even my husband who is a "mug lover" likes these better. Keeps the coffee hot so much longer.

Some of them come with a silicone seal over the little hole the glass blower left. I had some that didn't. Water got between the two walls in the dishwasher and it took forever to get it out. After I got most of the water out, I put white vinegar in to clear away the water marks. Once I got that out, I sealed the blow hole with a little dab of clear silicone caulk.
I love them and I am very careful with them I even use plastic spoons to stir but guests have broken two of mine. They were two different brands, so one brand is not sturdier than another.

These are great and keep coffee nice and hot. Two things that I don't like are that they do break very easily. I've already broken 2! The other is that I have small hands so it's a little difficult to hold and I have to use 2 hands when it's full.

I love making my Jacob's latte in these cups, you can really see all the layers, and they are a pleasure to drink out of. My only complaint is that they are too tall to use with the drip catching piece in place, but so short that I get splatters if I just set them in there without it. They are insulated enough that I can hold them in my hand while it brews, but that is not an ideal solution. I would love these in a taller version, for the larger cups of coffee.

I was very impressed with these mugs. I love the fact that they don't break with hot beverages, or when u brew hot coffee over ice. Most glasses break with hot and cold together, but these didn't, they're very durable. These are by far my favorite mugs.

These glasses are fabulous as far as having a piping hot beverage in it yet the outside is completely room temperature! Also, they keep hot beverages hot for a very, very long time. Having the clear glass as opposed to an opaque mug lends itself well to hot beverages that create "layers" of different colors with the brewing of the coffee/chocolate and the milk. The shape is also a great feature as it just molds to your hand which makes it really comfortable. The only downside is that they can break very easily. They are handblown, so they are actually finely made and, like many other finely made handblown glassware, they are fragile. We have some excellent, highly crafted wine glasses with the same issue of breakage. If you are willing to give these hot beverage glasses a little extra care, they are well worth it. It just makes the experience of the hot beverage that much more enjoyable. We put them in the top rack of our dishwasher and they come out perfect!
