We love our Tassimo coffee maker and after using this, the coffee taste was just like when we first got the machiine. We have hard water, so even using the water filter, we get a ton of build up. We tried a product sold at a local store ($13 for 1use) since we didn't have any on hand. Never again. This is a better price and it works.

Descaling your machine returns it to its original state. You would think with the filter, this would not be necessary. However, this actually improved the flavor in my machine. It is simple to use and cleans the machine as stated. A must if you think the flavor of your drinks has changed. My machine is 3+ years old and the flavor from it is the same as day one because of this descaling powder.
