The first few sips were nice and creamy and it smells wonderful, but it all goes downhill from there. The artificial flavors and sucralose have a cloying taste. Disappointing.

The only thing that would make the Chai more awesome would be for Tassimo to offer it without the milk pod. The flavor and aroma are great, but I do not need/use the milk pod for this drink.
I have read this comment in other reviews, and I think you would be able to sell the "Chai tea only" pods to a lot of your customers.

So good it's addictive. I could drink 10 of these a day. I've tried other chai teas and they are terrible. They tend to taste like liquid red-hots or are just too bland. This one really works for me. It still tastes like tea, but a very flavorful, exotic, aromatic tea without going overboard. I find the sweetness to be just right as is.

The aroma catches you from the first drop, then when you actually take a sip you have all the tannic capacity of a high quality tea, slightly sweet I love adding a hard caramel candy to the bottom and letting it dissolve as I drink it.. Simply my favorite so far!!

I bought the Chai Tea Latte when I first bought my Tassimo and I fell in love! I have a concentrated version, but it doesn't compare to this one. I drink it hot and cold and it's the best.

i really like this. it has a good taste, enjoyed the whole cup. i dont taste anything funny or ge headaces, but then i know before i got into tassimo like i did with the "k" EVERYTHING is presweetend. just how it is. not a big deal for me.

I was looking forward to trying the Chai Latte but was so disappointed with the artificial sweetener taste. I did not pay attention to the ingredient list when I bought the package. I get headaches with artificial sweetener, sucralose. I think beverages should be sweetened with by the drinker and with what they choose.

It has a great smell and I was very hopeful about having a pod Chai to use. It tastes like its full of chemically, bad tasting artificial sweetener. If that isnt bad enough...it comes out watery too! Completely disappointing!

Awful artificial sweetener

I too was looking forward to trying Chai Latte but was so disappointed with the artificial sweetener taste. After I tasted it I grabbed the package and found sucrulose in the ingredients. All other tassimo pods have been so good thus far but I can't drink sucrulose gives me headaches.

For those that complain about the taste: I put about 2 "lumps" of sugar in mine or Vanilla creamer from the fridge department. The creamer really gives it a wonderful taste.

I always heard about Chai tea Lattes,that was the " IN " drink. Now that I have my T20 this is one of my nighttime favorites. And best of all its only 2 pts on Weight watchers. So I enjoy the drink. I have to say the 1st one I made was Not happy with Too Sweet and Not very much. But now that I add a little more water it makes a satisfying warm drink on a cold evening.

I enjoyed this Tea at work and loved it so much that I purchased it for my new Tassimo Machine. Not sure what happened to the product but I was disappointed. The flavor is good but is ruined with the aftertaste of the artificial sweetener. I suggested Tassimo put the ingredient list with the products on their website so consumers know what is in the products before purchasing.

I was really hoping this would be awesome, and I was less than impressed. It's watered down and the sucralose in it just coats your tounge and sticks around for hours. I will be calling customer service to get this replaced.
I really wish I didn't have to read or ask about the sucralose in the coffees/teas. It would be nice if Tassimo would take a tip from their customers and see that many are asking for "NO SUCRALOSE!". I don't see anyone posting "Please use more artificial sweeteners" :/

We have been using the Tassimo machine about 3-4 years. We have ordered quite a bit from you as well as in stores, We were very disappointed in the Chai as well as the ice tea. I am very allergic to all artificial sugars. I would love to buy more of your products, only if you do away with the artificial sugars. The majority of your products are fantastic and these few really ruin it for us. PLEASE consider doing away with them. There are other alternatives, like Aguave, honey or even just regular sugars. Looking forward to the changes??????

I am a huge chai tea drinker... my go to drink at Starbucks is the chai tea latte but that gets too expensive. My hubby bought me the Trader Joe's chai tea mix which isn't bad, but it's a powder mix. When I bought my T45, this was one of the first flavors I purchased and I'm glad that I did. It's not better than the chai at my favorite Indian restaurant, but it's def as good as the ones I would get from Starbucks. Saves me $$ too.

I was so excited to see the chai tea latte disc and couldn't wait to make a cup once I purchased them. I was quickly disappointed after my first sip when my taste buds picked up the horrible fake sugar aftertaste. I couldn't finish my cup. I will not purchase it again unless only regular sugar is used and I will be more careful to read ingredients on other discs in the future.

I am a huge chai latte fan and am used to the flavor of the Tazo, Oregon Chai, Trader Joe's brand chai, and the brand served at my local coffee house so this one threw me at first because the taste is so much different. I do think it should be obvious on the box that it's made with sugar substitute, but I had read several reviews on it so I was expecting that artificial taste.
Fake sugar aside, it is actually pretty good. I admit, I add a dash of vanilla coffeemate to sweeten it up and cut the artificial taste a bit and it's delicious. All in all, a great option for a nice cup of goodness at home!
