The one exception to the Gevalia not good sense is this one. Very rich Hazelnut flavor and aroma with no unpleasant aftertaste.

There is no hazelnut flavor at all. Instead, this coffee tastes like watered down over-processed strong coffee. I do not recommend it at all.

This is one of my go-to, regular coffee flavors. The aroma literally fills the room and quickly grabs the attention of anyone who has not tried one before. The flavor is just the right amount of sweet without overtaking the coffee taste.

I love Hazelnut coffee and drink it whenever I can, and was excited to try this roast. This coffee smells great, and the first few sips were good. But as I drank more of it, the aftertaste left by the artificial flavoring ruined the taste of the coffee for me. I personally would not recommend this coffee.

I like strong coffees with a bit of flavor. The Swiss hazelnut is not dark enough for me so I mix it with espresso. It smells wonderful when it is brewing.

I make this in the mornings at work and people from all over the building come in just to smell my coffee. I honestly think the aroma alone has increased business in our small shop.

I have Gevalia Swiss Hazelnut as a backup for when I feel something different than my usual Columbian cup. I agree with other reviewers that it has a strong aroma and good strength but the taste is slightly off, almost more bitter than it should be. It is especially noticeable once my cup gets to room temperature.
Definitely try it if you enjoy hazelnut coffee and decide for yourself though. It can be found in the stores that sell Gevalia T-Discs.

Similar to the Gevalia French Vanilla coffee in that it has an amazing aroma, that it fails to match on the actual strength of flavor. The french vanilla actually has an even better and stronger aroma, so I would say I actually prefer that one. Neither of them taste as I was hoping though. The Gevalia Swiss Hazelnut tastes a little better than the french vanilla, but I'd much rather drink the cremas/espressos/cappuccinos/mochas for taste than these artificially flavored watery coffees. If I return to the French Vanilla in the future it will be just because the aroma was so intoxicating.

I have been drinking Gevalia Swiss Hazelnut for at least five years - I have it on a subscription plan. When the packaging changed for this item, SO DID THE FLAVOR. What used to be a subtle, lovely coffee is now a sickeningly sweet, overpowering, disgusting cup that I cannot drink. Let me know when you bring back the original!

I have been drinking this coffee for about two years, the original flavor tasted like it was roasted with hazelnut, had a great flavor(mild with hazelnut) and an amazing nose. The new formula has a taste of metallic fake flavored sweetened coffee. I bought three packages of this, a waste. Bring back the original flavor, please.

I loved it. Another winner as far as I'm concerned. IMO, you cant go wrong with Gevalia "anything"...
For a real treat , I use with a Suchards Cocoa or a bit of Tassimo creamer.

So this is what hazelnut is supposed to taste like. I’m not much of a hazelnut coffee fan because I’ve never had one that tasted right. Because of that I was a little apprehensive to try this one. However, my wife is a fan of hazelnut so I knew it wouldn’t go to waste. The first thing I noticed was the aroma as it was brewing. It was like warm butter, almost like a pound cake baking in the oven. I actually had to walk back into the kitchen to see if my wife was baking something. The flavor embodied that same rich butteryness much like an actual hazelnut. I like it because you get the earthyness of the nut along with a little bit of sweet while still being able to taste the coffee.

Just purchased my new Tassimo Beverage Maker and purchased the swiss hazelnut. I was so excited to have my first cup of coffee with the machine. Needless to say was very disappointed with the taste and smell. Agree with prior writer that there is an odor and taste--more like metallic to me. I am hoping it is just this type of coffee and not my new coffee maker. Am anxious to get a new type of coffee to see how it tastes.
