Very weak - mostly tastes like coffee-flavored water. The only way I can drink this is by mixing it with an expresso.

I was looking for a mild morning coffee without the strong aroma of burning coffee beans and bitterness in the taste. This product was highly rated so I gave it a try. This is really a medium to bold coffee for my taste buds so I was pretty disappointed. I did find I can make it more reasonable by adding 2 ounces of Bailey cream.

I'm not a fan of this roast. Despite that it's considered a "light" blend, I think it tastes very bitter and burnt. I doesn't smell very good either. I recommend the Gevalia Kona, it is slightly bolder but has a much better flavor.

I don't add anything to my coffee, therefore I need a bold taste without the bitterness. This is the best I came across thus far. I highly recommend this big cup of coffee!!

This is not my favorite coffee and probably won't be buying this again. The aroma while brewing is absolutely horrible. That aside, the flavor. I brew this coffee on the smaller size to get more flavor out of it. It is a little bitter tasting for my liking.

Since we could not get the Starbucks Breakfast Blend anymore for the Tassimo Brewer I tried this.... while I think it has a good taste and flavor and you can not beat the BIG cup full you get... both my daughter and wife said it smells like burned tuna while it brews... and they said it at different times... not knowing what the other had said... WOW... Dave

At it's full volume it is a good mild cup of coffee. If you prefer a bolder cup, simply cut it off at about 8 ounces. I know that kind of defeats the purpose of the larger cup. In the morning I brew a full 12 ounces, but in the evening I usually make a smaller bolder (stronger) cup. Buying this 12 ounce version gives you the option without spending the extra money on two or three different packs.

So far, this T-disc is my favorite. It is one of the few discs out there that makes a large cup of good coffee. I thought that it might taste watered down because it is makes a large cup, however, I was pleasantly surprised. There needs to be a larger selection of discs that make a large cup.

This particular variety is horrible! I am not a fan of strong and bold coffees but the Morning Roast tastes like dirty water. I don't know how else to explain it. This is the only variety of Tassimo that I will not drink.

I usually prefer the mild to medium coffees, but this Morning Roast really tastes like a "diluted" cup of coffee. I will not be buying this one again.

A nice big cup of coffee for those really early mornings. Didn't know it was a light roast. Definitely tasted a bit darker than that. Excellent aroma and a really good strong flavor to help pick you up on those cold mornings.

..some don't care for this and down-grade it so strongly. I thought it was very good. I love a good cup of coffee but have had issues with many brands, types, grinds being too acidic as I get older and my stomach gets more sensitive. (Stupid stomach! lol)
I receive some of this ( Gevalia Morning Roast) with my new machine and loved the large size and everything else for my morning coffee at the Dog Park. No acidic reaction etc on an empty stomach,too! I love it ! No complaints at all!

This is so far my favorite coffee I've tried with the Tassimo. I prefer a milder cup of coffee that doesn't taste watery. The morning roast is not watery at all despite making a large cup of coffee. The flavor is very good with a little bit of cream and sugar. There is very little bitterness or acidity like some of the other Tassimo flavors. The 12oz cup is the right size for a morning brew of this strength.

What happened to our medium Morning Roast? I thought something was wrong with my last shipment but didn't look at the package. This shipment I Iooked and it says Light, I used to get the medium, what happened to it? Was it not popular or something?

This is my favorite coffee so far. I like light or medium coffee and this one is just perfect. Not high in acidity so it's very smooth to drink, and it makes your kitchen smell good when it brews. I add a little cream in it and i'm ready to go.

We received the Tassimo machine for our wedding, along with a variety of coffees. This Morning Roast was so awful that after two cups, I threw the rest in the trash. And I'm a very regular coffee drinker.

I only use water that has been filtered from my Zero Water unit for my Tassimo machine. I think that this coffee is such a light roast that your water may have killed it.

I couldn't agree more - and I usually love Gevalia! I am powering thru the last of the boxes I ordered until my Gevalia Crema comes - I am so glad that is now available again!
