This is my favorite coffee blend for the Tassimo (or Kurig). Its a medium blend, but a full taste without a bitter bite and excellent flavor for a single serve coffee. This is definitely worth a try!

I personally didn't like this coffee at all. I prefer a bold flavor, but for me this was way too strong. I usually drink French roast and thought this would compare to that, however it did not. If you like coffee that taste like it has scorched in the pot then you will like this.

This is probably the most bold smelling and tasting coffee I've enjoyed from my Tassimo so far. As others have said, it's not bitter, which was what I expected from the scent, but it's full of flavor! A bold coffee like this deserves a bold and tasty creamer if you use one! If you're thinking of trying it, grab some! You won't regret it!

I have tried almost all of the T-disc offerings, and have no problem saying that this is the best, bar none. The strength of the coffee holds up even when you make a large cup, but is less bitter than some of the "extra bold" varieties. I buy as many of these as I can when Tassimo has a sale.

I found that this is the one for me. I've tried some of the others, but this Gevalia Kona is a nice strong coffee with no bitterness.
I buy this in bulk when Tassimo has a sale.
If you like a great bolder coffee, try this one.

Hated making my own coffee. never came out as good as everyone else's. got the Tassimo from my mother in law who replaced hers with the Kuerrig. Dont know why she did but im glad. she gave me all her coffee and stuff she had and i popped one of these in and it was amazing. just a regular cup of coffee. no measuring out coffee nothing. aside from the ease of use, it tasted fantastic. great flavor, great aroma, just plain awesome. I added my sugar and creamer like i would any other coffee and i was set. perfection.

This is probably one of my favorite cups of coffee along with the Gevalia Italian Roast. The Gevalia Kona is very smooth and nutty just like a kona coffee should be. It's not extremely bold but it still has a great flavor. I highly recommend.

This blend isn't really bold in my opinion, but it is pretty smooth. Just a word of caution, I bought (a lot) of these when they were on sale but I regret buying so many because the disks seem to burst and coffee/grounds go everywhere.

A Good Value for Boldness

The 15% Kona blend has a great bold fragrance while brewing and a sturdy taste. Even better, its T-Disc is regular size, so you can get 16 servings for a very good price. This compares favorably to the other Gevalia Bold coffee that only provides 12 servings at a slightly higher price.

I did not see an edit/update button for reviews so I can only hope others will read this.
My opinion on the coffee boldness has not changed; however I would really like to recant my comment about the disk bursting. It was pure human error from someone who did not know how to properly load the disk that made it burst.

I thought signature blend was the all time winner-I've tried a LOT of coffee flavors, and then I tried Gevalia 15% Kona Coffee Blend. And now I have choices to make. For me, it is morning roast, signature blend or Gevalia 15% Kona Coffee Blend. Maybe one of each before the day is over.

Not as strong as the Kenco Columbian (my favorite), but it and the new Columbian are very good. It's less fruity than the Columbian, a little nutty. More complex than the king of joe dark (which I also like).

Delicious! So happy you have this online now. My closest Bed, Bath & Beyond is 30+ minutes away and this is my favorite blend besides the Signature Crema and Italian Dark Roast. Have not disliked any Gevalia product yet.

I've been getting the Gevalia Kona blend at Bed Bath and Beyond for several months, and I am very happy to see it available on line and for automatic delivery. Like many, I've been looking for everyday replacements for the discontinued bold Starbuck's selections. The Gevalia selections have been worth the wait, and this adds nicely to the collection.
For reference, I drink a lot of the Gevalia Columbia and their Dark Breakfast Blend. The Kona is a little stronger than the Breakfast Blend and a good match for the Columbian. I find that all three satisfy my morning fix quite nicely. As a blend, the Kona is less nutty than 100% Kona, but there is that component to the taste and it holds up very well to my non-fat half and half. It is considerably stronger than my afternoon Jacobs Kronung.
