Note, even though tassimodirect labels this as "Bold", it is actually a "Medium" roast and tastes as such. The packaging itself does say "Medium". Only dark roasts work for me, so I'm still waiting for a good decaf T-disc. Also note, this package only contains 14 discs instead of the usual 16.

First off, I almost never drink decaf. I find it doesn't even taste like coffee. I bought this for guests, and I've had a handful cups after late diners. It's decent for decaf. To be clear, it doesn't hold a candle to regular coffee. However, if you have to have decaf, this is probably the one to get for the Tassimo.

I tried the Horton's when it arrived, hoping it would be tastier than the Gevalia I'd been using. It tasted pretty much the same to me. That sent me to the Maxwell House Decaf which I've found to be better than both of them, not great but a better flavor....which is to say it actually has a flavor. Hope Tassimo can come up with a winner in the Decaf aisle eventually.

For me decaf often tastes like chemicals but this tastes like real coffee with no weird flavors. I added a lot of milk (actually half&half + unsweetened soy milk) but no sugar and is very pleasant. So i could see why people who add sugar may find it bland because its not very bitter. But if you are avoiding both caffeine and sugar its great.

If you like decaf, Tassimo is not for you. This is a fair decaf and is only the best Tassimo has to offer. Countless calls to Tassimo to enhance their decaf selection go unheard. They have yet to come up with and excellent extra bold coffee. This is the same for regular coffee. It is my opinion the small size of the capsules limit them to offer stronger coffee with more flavor. When they had thier $7 Tuesday sale, this coffee was the only coffee UNAVAILABLE. The next day it was available.

Smelled great when brewing, so I was excited. The website says bold, and another reviewer says it was bold, but I thought it was slightly better than warm water. (And when you click through to buy, the description says it is medium, not bold, so the website it has two contradictory "facts."). Not bitter, certainly, but very weak. Going back to the Gevalia, which isn't great either, but at least has some taste.
Why can't they have a true bold decaf? I'd buy a ton of it.

I was very happy to find a decaf coffee that has a bolder flavor. The other decaf coffees I have tried for my coffee maker have been a disappointment due to being so bland/mild. Thanks. I hope this stays!

Tim Hortons decaf has a smooth well rounded flavor without any bitterness. It has a medium bold strength; with cream it might be a bit underpowered. Nice pure cup of coffee.

I've been drinking the Tassimo Maxwell House Decaf, which is good. But I noticed the Tim Horton's Decaf being available, so I tried it. It's better, and I'm hooked!

I am thrilled to finally be able to get Tim Horton's coffee that actually tastes like Tim Horton's coffee! I was surprised to see that it says bold. I do love bold coffee, this is not really it. It is just a regular coffee taste. The point is that for Canadians in the US who want their Timmie's and don't live close to one, this is the way to get it.

I ordered the coffee because the initial description say Bold. The packaging however says medium. This coffee tastes like hot water.
I am in search of a decaf that tastes like coffee, not hot water. I admit I do like strong coffee.
I have tried all three decafs that Tassimo offers and none of them are any good, just too weak. People who drink decaf coffee are drinking it for the taste not the caffeine so why are there not any decafs offered that taste like coffee.

TomW, please try the Tassimo Hag crema decaf. I think you will like it. It's the only one I will drink - I thought I would never find a Tassmio decaf I would like, but this is the best.
