I love how easy this is to use and you can just press the button and walk away. It did take a couple tries to put the first Tpod in but I got the hang of it. I was so excited but I hate the way the lattes and cappuccinos taste. The milk creamer tastes so fake. The coffee also doesn't stay cold for very long. I have a 30 minute commute to work and the coffee is cold by the time I get there. Too bad I already threw away the boxes or I would return it.

I have had this brewer for over two years and it has never let me down. The coffee is great - flavor is great.
I thought I would miss Starbucks leaving this brand, but the King Joe Cappuccino is great and so is the black Gevalia KONA.

I have bought this brewer over one year ago and I am satisfied with it. A few months ago it was broken but I called to Tassimo and I got a new one with no problems. The coffee is really unique. I recommend it to everyone!!!!

I had a tassimo t45...for 3 weeks, yes...3 loong weeks, and I had use it for 10 times, the most. IT'S BROKEN!

I've had the T45 for about 2 months now and absolutely love it's ease of use and brewing perfection. I've had a competitive single brewer before this at the same price and filling was a hassle. Was not worth keeping so I got rid of it after a year. The T45's water tank is easy to access, remove and fill despite being located on the back. Tassimo also seems to have a higher quality assortment of brews and the machine "reads" the instructions for each brew perfectly, definitely making Tassimo unique and taste superior. I'll be keeping this one for a while!

I got this as an undergrad graduation present and I love it so much! It's so easy and whenever friends come over they are thoroughly impressed by the machines sleek appearance. Only down side is I go to grad school in a small town so the only place I can buy the T discs is Wal-Mart. My particular Wal-Mart only carries two different types. Whenever I go to a town with a Bed, Bath, & Beyond I make sure to stock up! Overall I would definitely recommend this product!

I used to buy at Bed, Bath, & Beyond, its kinda more expensive even used the 20% off coupon for 1 item. At amazon away more expensive.

I have owned two Keurig, one Breville (licensed by Keurig), a Starbucks Vermismo and finally the Tassimo T45. Let's cut to the chase, the T45 does the best job of providing a quality cup of coffee, hands down, over all the rest. The two Keurigs and the Breville all broke down and were unrepairable. The Vermismo cost much more and does not even come close to the quality of the Tassimo product. If you love good coffee, and no gues work performance, you'll love the Tassimo machine. The coffee selection isn't as great as Keurig machines, but the coffee is a whole lot better! The Vermisimo has function problems. It is difficult to load, often dropping the coffee pod in the central trash. You then have to fish it out and try again. There are many other annoying problems, but among the most annoying is the highest priced coffee. Worst selection and mediocre quality. Get a Tassimo T45 and be happy with your smart choice.

Ask my hubby what kind of adult (think alcohol here peeps) beverages I like and he'll tell you "frou frou", so it seems only natural that this would translate into my coffee drinking experiences as well. Unfortunately for me, the hubs is not much a frou frou coffee drinker, nor does he appreciate the taste left behind in the carafe after a pot of the flavored stuff is made. So what's a girl to do? Up until two days ago, it meant that I either used powered mixes or resorted to a Starbucks trip. (I prefer the latter, but my budget doesn't.) Now I have been eying the single cup brewers for a while. My dad in Florida has one and loves it and my sister also has one, (which I love because I get to my hubby a while ago that there were two big ticket items that I was really wanting this year for Christmas: an iPad and a *cough (competition brewer that starts with "K"). Let's just say that the iPad lost. Being the good wife that I am, before I decided to pester my husband (who is not about the single cup brewer hype) into purchasing a $200 brewer I was going to make sure that I knew exactly what I wanted, why I wanted it and that it would work. The bad side of that is, many of the reviews I read about the competition's brewers mentioned pump malfunctions, inadequate cups being brewed, entire machines failing after 1-2 years. Now, if any of you are like me, you probably don't have (or don't want, or have a husband willing) to plunk down $200 just to purchase a coffee maker every two years in order to make what you want. I can tell you that before I started reading reviews and researching I didn't even know that Tassimo existed. Why? IMO, it's because the other brewer is the king when it comes to single cup brewers. Their products are everywhere. You can't even walk into a Dunkin Doughnuts or a Starbucks without ""-cups staring you in the face. But you've probably never seen a T-disc unless you like to frequent B3 (that's Bed Bath and Beyond for those who didn't get the memo). So, all that being said, why would a girl who had her heart set on the competition's product suddenly decide to purchase a Tassimo? Here are my reasons:

There is no single competition brewer that has the same features as the Tassimo Suprema T-45. The competition's models that have the same features or are similar in use are the B40 (Elite), B60 (Special Edition) and B70 (Platinum Plus), all which have pre-set cup size options (three or five). The brewers themselves are also taller and wider (13"x 10"x13"). If you want to be able to customize your brew strength, that bumps you up to the next model (more $$). I think that the Tassimo had better features and was cheaper than the competition's models listed above. So how do I know that I made the right choice in buying a Tassimo single-cup brewer?
My husband is now using it to make is own morning cup o' joe.... or shall I say espresso?

It seemed that I really wanted the tassimo all along but I was afraid to try something new. Over the holidays I went to a local store and couln't believe how many keurig machines and products were out there. The tassimo section was hidden and not nearly on "display". I walked out empty handed but decided to ask one of the cashiers what he would buy. He said its all about what kind of coffee drinker you are but that he had not seen many returns from customers buying tassimo. They seemed to be happy with it, so I asked him why all the keurig stuff all over their store, his answer simply "Keurig provides us with all this stuff, they want us to display heavily" so its all a marketing ploy. While it took some time to get the machine up and running (you have to clean the filter, run the water etc) once my husband & I tried our first cup of espresso on this machine WE WERE SOLD. No way I would trade for a keurig and although the selection is not as good as the keurig, don't fall for the hype. This machine is as good (and in my opinion better) than then keurig. Go get one, don't hesitate.

I bought this brewer for my husband for Christmas after he went to our local coffee house one day and said he got a latte from there and it sucked. We already had a "K" brewer that we had for over two years and worked well for the most part. Low and behold on Christmas Day the other brewer breaks and we had to drink our Starbucks ground coffee using the French press until we opened presents. So glad we have this brewer now. I like flavored coffees with flavored creamers, but I am more of a specialty drink person and love my mochas and chai lattes. I also like how this brewer takes up less counter space than the "other" one. I was planning on keeping the "other" brewer because we still have cups, but after troubleshooting and calling the customer service number, the agent declared the other brewer as "beyond repair". They offered us a "fantastic" deal on a duplicate brewer which really wasn't that fantastic at all. Everything I've had from the Tassimo brewer has tasted great. I'm still getting used to not being able to customize my cup size at the start of brewing, but it's no biggie. The plain coffees taste great and I've also had the chai latte and peppermint latte. This brewer really has something for everyone. My mom who doesn't drink coffee loved the chai latte. The only thing I miss is having the refillable cup to put my own grounds in. That's the reason why I gave this brewer a "Good" instead of "excellent" rating on versatility, but if we want to use our own grounds, we can just use the French press.

I was in Bed Bath and Beyond and tried a sample of the Tassimo espresso. I was amazed at how excellent it tasted and smelled. I had a K machine at home already but it just became obsolete. I bought a Tassimo 2 days later. :) I found it to be easy to use and every cup is a masterpiece. So far my favorite coffee is Gevalia Signature Blend. So good! Also the espresso and cappuccino and lattes are amazing! I like that is actually uses high pressure to brew just like professional machines. Thank you so much Tassimo. A real machine for coffee lovers. I may take mine to work to make some more fans.

I worked @ BedB&B for ~9 months. During that time, I saw an equal amount of Tassimo brewers and K-- brewers bought. But, I saw appx. 3 K-- returned / week. Only 2 Tassimos returned the entire time I worked there. That tells you something! Bought the T45. Loved it, mom in law loved it, bought her one, bought my Mom one! I seriously get out of bed in the am only b/c I think: I can make a latte or caramel mac, etc.. I'm frugal, that's ok - they're affordable, and there are plenty of coupons out there! :) The coffee actually SAVES you money; about $0.75 per cup vs. $3 - 5 at a coffeehouse or even gas station coffee (yes, it's yucky - but we've all done it). It's such a good investment, people will love you if you give it as a gift (remember coupons!) and I really just don't have anything bad to say about it at ALL. Breeze to clean, too. Thanks, Tassimo!!

I bought this for my wife almost a year ago. She loves it. Very few of the t-discs we have tried were not good to excellent. Even paying full price for the discs (they are on sale often) compared to Starbucks it saves you a ton of money. Sure go ahead and pay $3.50 or $4.00 a cup of pay like $.87 and get the same or better quality. Would recommend this to anyone. I had to call customer service during the recall and they were extremely helpful and did not ry and make excuses.

There is no advantage to having this coffee maker. All the dozen or so coffees, I've had so far, the chai, the Milka hot chocolate, were awful tasting and they aren't cheap. The machine itself works fine. I remember when I was looking for a coffee maker, I read a few reviews of people saying something similar to this. I think I've lived in Missouri too long. I'd have saved about $400 if I had followed their advice.

I bought my Tassimo T65 when it first came out AND a K-----. I gave the K-----to my sister because she doesn't like strong coffee. I LOVE a stronger cup and thats what I love about the Tassimo. I was hooked on the Starbucks Disc, and disappointed when they were discontinued. NOW Tassimo makes the Dark Italian Roast, the King Joe Expresso's, and even Maxwell House Expresso are GREAT bold coffees. Tassimo can also froth milk disc, the K----- doesn't. What also wins hands down over the K----- is NO WAITING for the TASSIMO to heat up before you can use it. These coffees taste as good or better since you can control weakness as barista coffee shops products.

One of the reasons it is a bad buy, is that you are stuck with using those t-disc beverages. Nothing else will work. They don't have an empty t-disc for you to use your own coffee. These coffee makers have been on the market for awhile now. They may have tried to make a versatile t-disc. but gave up on it. It crossed my mind that maybe they think it would cut into their t-disc sales. But it hasn't stopped the other guy. Tassimo would make a lot of clients happy if they did so and likely get more customers.

I love the Tassimo - it makes a great cup of coffee and also has the option for expresso drinks. I tried the Keurig and really disliked the weak coffee. Tassimo is a much better system and is very easy to use. There needs to be a better coffee selection, though.

Don't get me wrong I luv Star Bucks but they are way over priced. Im very picky when it comes to coffee and my tassimo is is awesome. There are so many options with this machine from regular coffees to lattes and espresso. Save yourself some time and money. Oh and did I say they'll deliver your coffee to your doorstep.

I own two red suprema brewers, one for the office and one for home. The red colored brewer is very sharp looking and easy to use. Excellent diversity of coffee drinks. The issue with the 'recall' is trivial -- the new disc holder shipped free to you after registration is easy to install. Actually, I didn't have any trouble with the old one. As with most of these issues, the problem is more commonly due to user error. A very minor complaint is how long it takes after the coffee is brewed for the brewer to stop dripping so that you can remove your cup and then remove the T-disc. Overall, this point is trivial. I waste so little coffee now, as opposed to when I brewed a whole pot at work in the past .

The machine works fine. I could live with the loud vibrating noise. But if I had to do it all over again, after trying about a dozen coffees, lattes, a chai, and a Milka hot chocolate, I would not have purchased a Tassimo at all. I'm still throwing out coffee because it tastes bad. To spend this much for a coffee machine and the high prices for inferior tasting brew, it wasn't worth it. There is no advantage to buying a Tassimo over a cheap coffee maker or an expensive coffeemaker. I still had to buy extra products to make the coffee taste good and I had to stop that because of weight gain. At least with a cheap coffeemaker, I can use the kind of coffee I like and get a good cup of black coffee without sugar. Even the sugar free sweetener didn't help.
